What Is It?
The Kawasaki VN1600 Classic is a cruiser style bike and is powered by a liquid cooled 1,552 cc (95 cubic inches) V-Twin engine which puts out 65.7 bhp at 4,700 rpm and maximum torque at just 2,700 rpm.

It builds on the VN1500 with an 82 cc larger engine, 5% more power, 10% more torque, a larger radiator and a switch from spoked to cast wheels.
The 7-spoke 16" wheels take a Bridgestone Exedra 130/90 at the front and a 170/70 at the rear.

Model History & Updates
2004: VN1600 Mean Streak with minimal pillion provision, dual clocks in the usual position, larger 320 mm discs up front, 73 bhp at 5,300 rpm, max torque at 2,800 rpm, smaller 17 litre tank, smaller fenders and standard controls.
